Transcript for "Deltek Costpoint Live Overview & Demo - 8/27/2026": Alright. Good morning, everyone, and thank you for joining us today for the live Costpoint overview and demo webinar. My name is Griffin Evans, and I will be your presenter today. And I'm excited today to talk to you about how Costpoint can keep your projects on time and, more importantly, on budget. As a solutions engineer here at Deltek, my job is to help you understand the multitude of ways in which Costpoint, the industry leading ERP for government contractors, will benefit your company and why it is the best choice for your business as it is for many others. But before we begin, I have a few administrative items to note. For the best webinar experience, please use Google Chrome, and audio is streamed to your computer, so there's no need to dial in. Resources, including the presentation slides, are available to download in the docs tab on your screen. We will also have our clarity study in there, which is where we get a lot of our kinda numbers from and get all of our data from if you wanna check that out as well. You will also receive an on demand recording of today's webinar via email within twenty four hours after the webinar ends. Lastly, if there are any questions, please type it into the Q and A box at any time during the presentation. We will address as many questions as we can at the conclusion of the webinar, and any questions that are left unanswered will be addressed individually offline. So expect an email from me kinda after this call either later today or tomorrow to follow-up on those questions. Now why don't we kinda dive right on in? So, again, thank you all for your time today. But today, really, the conversation is going to be more of a high level overview of what cost point is. So, really, what it is, what it's built for, why so many gone government contractors rely on it for running their businesses. So this isn't necessarily a tailored demonstration, but think of it as an introduction to see whether it makes sense to go deeper into a follow-up session with us to focus more on your actual priorities, the environments that you're in, let's say, the industry and the challenges that you're facing today. Also, please bear with me. I understand nobody wants death by PowerPoint. We will get through these PowerPoints slides very quickly, and then we'll jump right on into the solution. And, we'll be able to walk through and go through a couple different areas. And then that's where a lot of those questions will come from there. Now Costpoint is Deltek's ERP built for specific or specifically for government contractors. It supports you from opportunity pursuit through contract closeout with product accounting, compliance, and financials all in one system. And because it's all built on the Deltek Intelligence, modular platform, you get flexibility and scalability without complexity. This also helps you future proof your business with the functionality you need today and a clear path to advanced features and modules as you grow. So making sure, right, nobody wants to have multiple implementations. Nobody wants to go through all of those over and over again with Costpoint. Right? You can get started with our core package and then expand as you need. So Costpoint is designed around this reality. Budgets can't slip, audits can't fail, and leadership needs answers without waiting for month end close. Unlike generic ERPs, Costpoint is designed around how government contractors actually operate. Projects are the center of everything. Cost, revenue, compliance, and reporting all roll up to the project level, giving finance and operations the same view and the same source of truth. Costpoint combines three things for government contractors that they usually struggle to balance. Real time intelligence for better decisions, built in governance to stay on it ready, and modular scalability so the system grows with you without heavy customization. So really here to help our government contractors and make the most out of the solution here. Now Deltek has been focused on the government contracting space for more than forty years. Costpoint supports more than 1,900 government contractors, including the majority of the top 25 federal contractors, and nearly 90% of customers are small and mid sized organizations. So don't think we're just made for those, big guys up there. But I've seen Costpoint work for companies with five employees as well as five projects and then also scaling up to the company, right, as they grow up to a thousand employees and 100 contracts. So really showing kind of the depth that Costpoint can have, being prepared for those small government contractors, and then scaling up to really meet those needs once you get to maybe more of those bigger contracts and handling those complex situations there. Now Delta is engineered to power outcomes at every stage. So with this, right, we're gonna start with the win, which is gonna be you're gonna wanna win more projects, identify more opportunities through Gov1 IQ, really helping you at the beginning of that, you know, the phases of going after those contracts and landing all that information, having the true data. So when you send out a proposal, you know exactly how much, right, you expect to make off of that if we were to win that. All of that is gonna be built in there with that win stage. Next, we're gonna carry that over into the plan stage. So we're gonna plan for profitability. We're gonna help you identify risks. Gonna help you operate proactively rather than responding to errors or putting out fires. We wanna make sure that you're prepared and that, you know, we're set up for success here. We don't wanna accidentally have an error going on, go back, fix it, take up time. We we wanna make sure that you're set up for success from the beginning. After that plan, we're gonna help you execute. We really wanna help you execute effectively as well as staying compliant. So with that, you're gonna have visibility into your profit, and you're gonna be able to see that in real time. You're gonna optimize resources for performance and really build out and execute the business efficiently rather than having to kinda scrap together reports, put them into Excel, build your own. Everything's gonna be laid out for you here and helping you be successful. Then lastly, right, after we execute our work, we're gonna wanna analyze it to help us continue our growth. So this is gonna give you a full picture of current and historical data. So you can make real time adjustments and you can understand exactly, you know, the the information that's coming in. Having all that prior data loaded into our dashboards and then being able to compare that versus our current and then kinda making some judgment calls there. What type of contract should we go after, going forward? Or which ones are we most profitable on? Which ones are we maybe losing a little bit of our profit on or just, you know, kind of breaking even? Letting you see all that data here inside of Costpoint. So we're really unifying the Deltek experience into a system of intelligence and action. Our platform delivers valuable insights and automation across the project life cycle. But let's dive in a little bit more and show you a bit of how kind of this whole life cycle works inside of Costpoint as well as across the whole entire Deltek ecosystem. So within here, we're going to be able to have a kind of our full display here starting with the bottom level which is going to be our DNA. So with this, this is our Deltek native architecture. The foundation of the DNA for us here at Deltek which is gonna be compliance, control, cloud, data, and services. Costpoint was right founded about forty plus years ago built for this type of purpose, making sure that we're compliant, built for government contractors, building from the ground up. So that's where our whole structural integrity is. That's where we all got started here. So we're really just starting to build on top of that and adding in different solutions and one of those is cost point. Next. So on top of that, it's gonna set our apps layer. Right? So our best in class business applications for ERP and accounting, project management, business development, and product delivery. Right? So this is gonna be where cost point sits in where, let's say, Gov1 IQ, if some of you are familiar with that and a lot of our different applications, really building on top of that structural foundation that we have here from Deltek. And then lastly, kind of our our new iteration, our new era is going to be with DELLA AI. This layer provides insight and automation when and where you need it. It also with complex terms that it understands. Right? Since we have that architecture and our foundation is all about project based businesses, it's all about government contracting, we are building our AI specifically for that industry to understand all the different, you know, acronyms that the government's throwing at you, all the different terms that you need to understand, all the different compliances. We are building that directly into our AI to help you manage all that, really act as a junior analyst and an org orchestrator. So helping you get pieces of information from your system and also help you orchestrate the business, run different processes, and work throughout many different areas. We'll definitely be diving in and seeing a bit of Dela today, but that's really where our kinda next iteration is coming or going, I should say, in the terms of Deltek here. Now Costpoint truly sits at the center of this and is, you know, the Deltek's intelligence platform. So really giving you all that information into kinda one area here. So it integrates with applications for pricing, resource management, time and expense, project management, and business intelligence. So data flows across teams instead of getting stuck in silos, and Costpoint really brings all that together. It's gonna really help you with that project accounting. You're gonna be able to have your contracts inside of Costpoint. You can even do HR and payroll inside of Costpoint. You can do procurement, manufacturing for some of those customers, and, of course, reporting. That all ties back to the project. So, really, everything, right, is gonna tie back to that heart of cost point, which is gonna be the projects and making sure that everything ties back. So any reports that we wanna see is all gonna be based on those contracts that we have established inside of the system. And that's what really enables the real time insight in the project health, financial performances, and compliance. Now kind of also showing that we have a little bit more of a new modern experience here. Some of you might have previously used Costpoint. We have recently updated our UI to make it a lot more intuitive, a lot more user friendly, and also just make it easier to learn. So that's our ultimate goal. We want the adoption and the the usability to be as easy as possible, including AI. Right? So we can talk to Della, which is our AI built in. And how do we do this process? It'll be able to walk you through those different processes. We'll see a little bit of that today. And really just making it easier for adoption across the board from, let's say, the accounts who are gonna be more in the back end of the system, putting in journal entries and accounts payable vouchers to our normal employees that are just using time and expense, being able to kinda see. Right? Let me just scan my receipt, put in an expense report, and get on with my day. Right? We wanna make that process as seamless as possible. So that is really where we're heading towards with this new innovation and this new UI that we are having here, inside of Costpoint. Now also just to double tap again on Della and we're almost done with the slides and we're gonna jump right in, I promise. But so here with Della is gonna be kinda some of the different areas that you can use it. So AI is truly embedded directly into cost point with a couple of these different areas. So, firstly, this includes our smart summaries. These are gonna be built throughout multiple different areas. This can be in the contracts area. This can be on an employee record to get a good summary or summarization of what that employee is involved in and what they're doing. You can do it for planning. So let's say some of our budgets and our EACs, we can scan those and then be able to detect, right, how is that operating? How is that working? We'll be able to get a deep dive of that type of information. And, really, it's also in other areas. Right? So we're really building it out to help you summarize information. So maybe you're brand new on this project. I can get caught up really, really quickly there with a smart summary. Next, we do have Astella, which is more of our chatbot feature there. We'll definitely be diving to that quite a bit today. But with that, you can also enable it to trigger different processes. So let's say, hey. Help me set up a project. It'll be able to walk you through those steps and create that project with you. Right? Essentially, just guiding you through that process because maybe we're a little bit new to that. Or, hey. How do I enter in an accounts payable voucher and go through that whole process? It'll be able to break that down for you. So it is also connected to our Deltek Learning Hub, which is also built directly into cost point here so you can access it. And then it's essentially just all the learning guides. So having AI now help teach you how to operate the system and make you more effective there. Then lastly, kind of more the automated areas is gonna be Deltek agents where you can input different pieces of information, and I'll be able to run that through for you. So let's say a contract. I wanna put in a contract. They'll be able to digest that and then be able to put that record into cost point for me or let's say for the expenses side of the house. I have a travel itinerary. I can drag that in, drop it, and we're able to scan that for me, pull off all the information, and be able to kinda get that started for me there. And this goes through multiple different areas. Let's say accounts payable vouchers. I wanna drag the invoice in. It'll be able to populate it and show me kinda what it was able to pull off. So really building this out in multiple different areas to help you become more automated and make you more efficient. Now, lastly, we'll just kinda talk about the main four areas that we're gonna be talking about inside of Costpoint today, then we're gonna dive right in and show you kinda what we have to offer inside of Costpoint. But firstly, starting, kind of our main area that we're gonna dive into at the start is going to be driving growth. So this is gonna help you future proof your business with innovative software that's designed to scale with you as you grow. So really showing you the the true capabilities of cost point if we're gonna use every single area or, you know, maybe we just start off with the beginning. We're gonna show you both of those kind of examples here and lay that out for you. Next, of course, we're gonna wanna optimize cash flow and resources. So this is gonna help you automate financial processes to expedite billing and provide real time visibility into cost. So really breaking down how that's gonna operate inside of Costpoint. Third, we're gonna be going into winning and delivering better projects. So streamlining the handoff between finance, contracts, project control, HR, and operations with a full front desk and back office integration. So really breaking it down and showing you all those different areas, especially with those projects, right, where those contracts are gonna be put in. They're gonna then become a project, and you're gonna be able to build that out there inside of the system for yourselves. Then lastly, kinda coming to the end of it. Right? Navigating government contracting. We're gonna be able to accelerate government contracting success by leveraging a proven solution with built in capabilities and compliance guardrails in place. So this is truly what Costpoint was built for. Costpoint is the most audited system in the government contracting space. So we are tried and true. We've been in the thick of it for a while, and we're here to help you. Right? Especially as a small business, let's say, coming into this industry, we wanna help you succeed, and we wanna partner with you and really, you know, drive growth for both of us. We wanna be a team here. But with that, why don't we jump into Costpoint and take a look at these different areas, inside of Costpoint? So let me get my screen here. Alrighty. And then let's come over here, and let's share my screen. Alright. Here we go. And we are live. Alrighty. Here we go. Alright. Perfect. So without further ado, welcome to Costpoint. So firstly, kinda with that driving growth, I'm gonna drive around and show you a little bit of just kind of the core of the solution here from a logging in perspective, how you navigate, and that type of perspective. So coming up here to the very top right, you're gonna see welcome to Costpoint. You're gonna be able to open this up and be able to see a couple different videos in here. So you are able to embed in, right, training videos, which is what we have here. So let's say, right, for yourselves or for, new employees being able to have cost point training, right, built directly in so they can click on that, access the video, and go through those trainings. You can also input in your own, what do you what do you wanna say, your own training videos, let's say. Right? So not not our training videos, but let's say, right, your HR training videos, you can embed some of those in here as well and have that displayed at the top of the banner. But closing out of that, coming over to this right hand side, we are going to have our help menus. Now, also, on the right hand side and the left hand side that we'll go to very shortly, those menus will be available no matter where you're at in the solution. So let's say we're in the middle of a process. I'm not sure how it works. I can click on this help menu right here and get assistance right away. But if I open this up, we're gonna be able to have one just a generic help. So if I'm on a screen, it'll drill in and show me specifically what that screen is used for or we can open up the learning hub, which I'll do right now, which is going to be where you can learn what what the newest update is or if we wanna see different training guides for specific use cases. So I can do a learn by role here, learn by, let's say, a contract administrator or if I wanna learn by a project manager. I can learn how that role really works inside of Costpoint and dive into that there. And then also getting started. So let's say we're brand new. We can get some new started learning paths and walk you through how that's gonna work. But also, of course, right, we do have let's say, we do purchase Costpoint. We typically go through a little bit of a training package there with hands on experience, but just wanted to show you that this is here, of course, for you all. We'll jump back out, get back into Costpoint here. Now, also, of course, did want to show you Della. So this is gonna be ask Della. So we are gonna be able to open it up no matter where we're at, and then we'll be able to talk back and forth. So firstly, just get the conversation started. I'll just say hello to get kinda Della talking to us a little bit. Now you can also do voice, chat as well. You can see kinda down here on the bottom right. Again, trigger the mic and just talk to it. I know some people really prefer that, but really just having an assistant here to help you. Now I can ask some generic questions like what can you do? And then, Dela, will you able to respond to me with those typical questions that are asked. Right? Can you enter in five hours on my time sheet? Who's the project manager on this project? Right? How much PTO do I have? Those types of examples. So kind of building off of that. Right? It's we're coming to the tail end of summer, but let's just say I was gonna schedule another vacation. Maybe I'm not sure how much PTO I have. I can ask how much PTO do I have. And then Della will be able to go get that for me because maybe I'm newer. I'm not not sure where to find this information. And I can just ask Stella so that Dell will be able to grab that for me. And you'll see even with that type of information, it'll be able to hyperlink us there so then we can go jump to that area of the solution to be able to see where our lead buckets are and see how much have we used this year, you know, how much do we have continuously. Right? We can see all that. So we can see that we have about three buckets in the system. We can have more if we want. So, alright, we can add in bereavement or some other types of lead buckets. This is just what we have for demo's sake. But then down here, you're gonna see the blue hyperlink. I can click on that, and it's gonna open it right up for me. I'm gonna close Della here, but then we can see where our buckets are. We can see our beginning balances, year to date earned, year to date used, so we can get all the detail right here. So helping us also navigate the system. So you can imagine the different use cases we could have for that typing in different ways to operate the system. It'll be able to help us jump to the correct screen. Now we're gonna head back to the home menu here. And coming over here on this left hand side, is gonna be our main navigation. So this is where all the different modules that you've heard me talking about are. So you're gonna see here we have accounting. We have planning. We have contracts. So right. We have a whole lot of different ones in here. Now I am logged in as an admin, so I have access to everything, but we do have what we like to call user groups. So then let's say the accounting user group will have access to only the accounting, you know, areas. You can set that up to make sure that compliance is, you know, being kept up and that people don't access areas they're not supposed to. Right? Somebody kinda tries to sneak in and see how much their coworker makes. Right? We don't want that. So we're gonna make sure that we lock everything down and then we hide them. So I just wanted to kinda show that as well. Now, also, kinda come into the center of the screen here, these are gonna be our navigation banners. So, again, coming back to those user groups, you can set up these banners and connect them to a user group. So then let's say we have a typical accounts payable process, we can share that across all the accounting team and all of them will have the same one. So letting you share those types of banners and have standardized processes that you can walk through. Just to show you an example, we'll jump into kinda winning and delivering better projects. We'll come back to it, but just to show you what the banner looks like is up here at the top. So you're gonna see that we have kind of all those different chevrons, like this column, that we can jump through each different step, make sure that we're checking off each box there. Now, lastly, kind of on the the navigation and the look and feel and driving growth is that also each user can kinda configure their own kinda layout. So with that too, I can also, of course, change the sizing of all the, you know, all the different pieces of information. So we can make them small, we can make them medium, we can make them large. We can enable, breadcrumbs so then you can see exactly where you're going. I can also, of course, do black mode or dark mode, I should say, allowing you to have that type of, you know, look and feel, but we'll come back to, to light mode here. But allowing you to kinda control all of that. And then also over here, you can control layout options on each screen. So if you wanted each screen to look a little bit more different, if you wanted to kinda change the layout, you do have the option to do that here as well. But without a further ado, we're gonna jump into our first kinda key area, for a navigational banner. Right? So we kinda just covered driving growth. We're gonna jump into optimizing cash flow and resources. So I wanted to show a couple different areas here. So first, we're gonna jump into the expense reports, which can be done in three different ways. So one is we do have our expense report entry here inside of the desktop that we're about to see. We also can enter an expense reports on Teams and have right? Start that information, and we'll see a little bit of that, right after this. And then we also have a mobile app. So we can do a mobile app for time and expense where people can scan their invoices on with the computer and be able to then fill out the expense report, put in their timesheets, all that can be done on a mobile app as well. But diving in here, this is gonna be what the expense reports look like inside of our desktop system here. This is also called our wizard mode. So this is gonna help you walk through each process here, allowing you to kinda see, right, We need to put in the details first, then we can require the location, then default charge, and then each individual expense would be at that bottom there. But, essentially, starting off here with the details, we're gonna have to put in what the purpose of this is. So we can see we're just traveling, put in date, and we can put in, to and from that happened of this date. And, of course, for per diem reasons, we do have the first day and the last day that can be tagged here. So allowing you to do that calculation when those are triggered. And then we can put in a purpose down here, alright, explaining why we're traveling. So let's say we're just going to a client site, we could type that in there. Next, it's gonna take us to that location. Right? So kinda similar to that per diem, thing that I just talked about, right, for the first day and the last day, we're gonna have those per diem rates right in here. So you're gonna be able to upload these into the system, and then all of your employees can click on it and hit view, and they'll be able to see that fully displayed here for them. They can also see all that information, and they can even write in the comment. So they could have multiple different locations. Right? So let's say they're jumping around a little bit, going to a couple different locations, that can all be put in here, and they can type in exactly why they're at one location then explain the next location and have that all kinda detailed out here. But after that's been completed, we're gonna come down to the default charge. This is gonna connect it back to a project. Right? So coming back to those projects is how we're gonna control where all of our charges are going. So in here, we see that we put in one of our projects here, our navy unmanned air systems for the milestone number one. But you also might notice over here that we can control the allocation percentage. So with this as well, we can control exactly how much allocation we want to go to each project. So let's say we have three projects. We could do 20%, 20%, 60. So we can really control that here and have that displayed. And then lastly, right, kinda ending things off, we're gonna come into the expenses themselves. So then I can hit add an expense, and then we'll be able to start that process in here. Right? So then we can choose what type of expense is it. Right? Is it gonna be airfare? Is it gonna be luggage? Is it gonna be parking? Right? So you can build these out to your needs. And then once this has been kind of, established, we'll be able to select one. So let's just say parking, and then it will trigger kind of this next flow here to fully break it out for us. So then this is gonna be the workflow that goes through just each expense individually, and then we'll start to stack it up on top of that, you know, kinda default header that we had as well. So giving you all that. You can set up ceilings. You can set up, allowable versus unallowable. All that can be built in here, but just wanted to walk through a bit of that for us here. Now coming over into a little bit more of the kinda cash flow and managing area is that we also wanted to show some audit reports and helping kinda manage indirects as well to help you see a lot of that true cost, visibility here. So within here, we do have what we like to call our statement of indirect expenses. You can also think of this as an audit report. But with this, it'll be able to break out your fringe, your overhead, your g and a, and show you all those costs. And, also, just to show how easy it is to print out an audit report is we have it loaded up here. I can come over here, hit print. I can either print that out, and then I would download it as a PDF, or I can just hit preview and it would load it directly into the system for me to kinda check it out and see if I like what type of details it's giving me. But in here, we can see it's a it's a fringe benefits report, and it breaks out kind of the the the pool cost in the pool base for you here. So truly giving you all that information right at your fingertips. And, also, a nice story here as well is that, right, coming in, I had to right. Everyone has to kinda go into the auditing area and, right, gets audited. So going into an audit, it's very nerve wracking. But, right, the auditors will come in and, right, one of my colleagues had to go through this. They came in, they sat down, and they were asking, right, what system do you use? They said, hey. We use Costpoint. She said that she visibly saw the auditors, like, relax. They were just they calm down. They're like, oh, we know exactly what we need. We know exactly what reports we have to get out of the system And, essentially, it's a checklist. They know exactly what reports they need. This was one of them. Statement of indirect expenses. You just print all the reports out, and it really makes that process so much easier. With Costpoint being one of the most audited systems in the government contracting space, those auditors know exactly where to get the information and makes it very easy. So that's kind of one of our goals as well. Just make it stress free, easy, make sure that you can get through all of it, and make sure that you're compliant, of course, and then, you know, go through that process here. But just like to share that little story. Now coming over, we're gonna jump into a little bit of our reporting. So coming into here, this is gonna be business intelligence, which is IBM Cognos, baked directly into cost point here. So first, they're gonna be starting out with an executive dashboard showing you full cradle to grave of how the system's operating. So helping you with that cash flow, helping you with resources, seeing everything that's happening here from an executive overview perspective. So with this, we can jump to the first tab here. See your pipeline. You're gonna be able to track, right, when opportunities are supposed to come in, the number of opportunities, those values, all that will be here inside of the system. You can also see the backlog of the contracts that you do have, checking out all that information laid out here and the types of contracts that they are. We can carry that over and see the revenue of the projects after they've been established and operating, and we can even see it here by department. So we can see right. We have a manufacturing department, services department, consulting, and we can break that out, see it by the names of the projects, or even by the project managers. But let's say we wanna see the profits instead. We can jump over and see project profits, and we can see that broken up by the type of contracts that they are, again, by department. Another nice thing too with these dashboards that they're interactive. So I can come down here. I can click on Larry, and it will filter the dashboard for me quickly. I can see our time and materials. He's consulting, and I can see the project number if I wanna go drill in and see that information as well. And then easily, right, unfilter it, and I come right back out. We can also see the AR and days of sales outstanding information here broken out in multiple different ways, letting you see all of that detail right here. We can also jump over and let's see the expenses broken out by either of those accounts down here as well as, right, let's say, direct versus indirect projects. And then carrying that all the way through, we can, of course, see the labor that's being held inside of the system with our time sheets that we'll be jumping to right after this, but but allowing you to see, right, how much is being spent on direct projects, how much is being spent on indirect projects, what department, giving you that full breakout here to be able to see all that information. Now jumping over, did wanna also show the time sheets. Right? So kinda kinda showing you where we're gonna be able to flow all these through, helping you optimize where these costs are gonna go. They're already gonna be tracked against the project, so then we can just invoice for it, letting you have that full streamline process here. But within here, this is gonna be our desktop time sheet and allowing you to see what projects we're gonna be charging to. So we can charge to these three projects here, and we're gonna see all of our different hours coming into the system. And then, also, you might be curious why is this day red. So this was a day that I requested for PTO, and it will highlight it in red. And, also, you do that by clicking this button right here, but it will highlight it in red saying it's not approved yet. And then once approved, it will go to green. So it's currently routed to the manager, but they haven't approved us yet. And then also any holidays will be highlighted in yellow to make it very easy to see right when we have those days off. And then coming in here, though, let's say I just wanted to enter in my time. I could come in here, hit my eight hours. I could hit save, and I've just saved my time sheet for today. So allowing you to do that type of functionality. Now we also do have a clock in, clock out capability as well. This is obviously not that, but we do have both options depending on the type of employee that it is. So I'm giving you both of those options here. But then also for compliance sake, we can also jump back. Let's say last Wednesday, I actually only worked four hours. I can hit save, and I have just saved my time sheet now. But it's gonna ask me to explain why am I making a revision. Why am I changing my time sheet? So we can see that right here, and then I could type in whatever I wanted to. But to make it easier for your employees, you might see it's a really small magnifying glass right here. I can click on that, open it right up, and then I can have some predetermined reasons. So I can just hit I'm adjusting my hours. I can hit continue. And now I've just adjusted my hours for today. And now it's time or for last Wednesday. But now I can see, right, it has time stamped it down. It has a full explanation. So if anybody comes knocking, you have the full audit trail, the full history, all that's there ready to go. Then lastly, I could hit this little sign button up here and certify these are the hours that I worked and that would be routed to my manager for approval there. But that's kind of the desktop time sheet again. Right? We have those other options. So we're gonna jump over and show you the teams and Outlook integration. Coming out here, firstly, wanted to show you the Teams connection. So within here, you can send out a daily floor check to send out an interactive time card. So you're gonna see here that we have right? It's sending out at 11:44AM every single day. So that's just the time that we selected. You can change that time if you want to, and then you can come in and you can enter in my eight hours. I can hit save, and then I've just saved my time sheet. But scrolling up here, right, we can see for the next day, it's again 11:44. It's allowing you to send this out every single day to have your employees enter it in. And it's just a little chatbot right here. Right? So allowing you to come in, communicate back and forth, and get that information. Now Della is also connected here inside of Teams. So if I scroll up, I did have a an example here of our kind of communication here. Right? So we talked back and forth with Della, but then I also put in our sample itinerary right in here. So you can see that I threw the sample itinerary in, and then it was able to digest it. And then it it added 17 of those itinerary expenses to an expense report in drafted mode. So then I can jump back in and accept that. Now we can see here it even gives me a hyperlink, so I can click on that too, and it will take me directly over there. So I can log in now so you can see how how you log in, and then it's gonna take us directly to those expense reports. Now this is in a different environment than the one that we were just in, but just for demo's sake, we'll see it in right here. And then I pulled it up, and now this is our whole itinerary now just ingested in. Of course, right, we're gonna wanna put in all the receipts and attachments. So that's why it's kind of in drafted mode for. And, of course, we can put in right change the project if we need to. But allowing you to have all of that information directly ingested in makes it so much easier and so much faster to get this info into the system. So I just wanted to show that here as well. But then also wanted to show the Outlook integration. So this is gonna be what it looks like as well. Same type of functionality that we just saw on the team's side. So we'd have the time cards. We can come here and look at the time card. Right? Same exact thing, just in an email format now. But then we can also see approval workflows. So it's a lot easier to kinda save an email. So but this can also happen on Teams, so you can still do that as well. But within here, we can trigger workflows to be approved and sent throughout the whole entire system to notify individuals. And within here, we can see, right, this is for an accounts payable voucher. I can hit here hit approve or you can hit reject. But we also have what we like to call content management integration, which is where you can store documents directly under records inside of Costpoint. And you can see here, it was even able to attach it right here. So I can open this up. I can look at it. Oh, this is the invoice. Okay. And then right, I can see look at the details. Right? Look at all that, and then I can hit approve or reject. Right? So let's say we're just coming in here at the beginning of our workday. I can see all the details then, and we can start to approve that right right there. Right? So letting you have that full functionality inside of email rather than having to log in the cost point, go through all those, you know, all the different steps of logging in, going in, finding the screen that we need to go to, it can all just be through email, making it so much faster for you guys. Now we'll come back over and come back into our demo environment here. So with that, that kinda comes to the conclusion of our optimizing cash flow and resources. So we'll jump back out here, and then we'll come in to winning and delivering better projects. So within here, first, they wanted to show the opportunities area. So this is gonna be in our contract section, but this is also a Gov one IQ record that's being brought over. So we can come in here. We can see, right, the record type is Gov one IQ, but allowing you to track that opportunity that you're going after. Track, are you a prime? Are you a sub? You know, who is this for? Is it for the, you know, the air force, or is it for the navy? Right? You can track all that information right in here. You can also track contacts. But with the Gov one IQ tag as well, we can just bring those directly over, and it populates so much information for us. So we can come down here and see. Alright. So this is with the VA. We can see it's, you know, a fixed price contract. We can see, you know, the NAICS codes. All that information is gonna be here for us to see, And it even brings over some key dates and some key contacts for us as well. So allowing us to have that populated here within the system. So bringing all that over, and it automatically creates this opportunity record for you to get the ball started and, you know, help you track all that information here. But then with that, right, let's say we did land the opportunity. We successfully got it. That would help us move it over directly into a project. So we can do a project initialization right down here and then kick off that process to create a project. Now with that, that's gonna look like right over here what our projects would be. So right in here, this is what our project workflow would be. This is going to be a three level example here inside of the system, but it could be bigger if you wanted to. This can go down to about 14 levels. So you can kinda go crazy with it if you want and really build out all the different levels. But with that, it can it can help you put in the cleanse, the slins, tasks. Right? Let's say we have an IDIQ. We need to put in task orders under it. We can build it out in that type of way because with Costpoint, let's say at this second level here, I can control the billing formula, the revenue formula, the ceilings, the funding, all that can be controlled at the second level rather than at the top level and it right. Maybe the project only has one. That's not how Costpoint works compared to other systems. Really lets you have the flexibility to control those all at separate levels, but still roll it all up to the top with a project here. So really giving you a lot of flexibility there. But jumping in here, we can kinda show you a little bit of how a product set up. So kind of a quick rundown would be the project classification. In here, we can have be a bid and proposal project. It can be a direct project, indirect project, maybe r and d. We can have that all established here, essentially what the purpose of this project is going to be. We do have a project type here, so we can open this up as well and see exactly, right, what type of project do we wanna tag this as. Now you can define this however you want. You control kind of the table here. So we just have government services as an example, but we could change this to whatever you got want it to be. So having that all right there. Now, also, we do have the account group in here. So that's gonna let you to establish kind of what group of accounts are going to be validated to be active against this project. So, right, of course, you don't want indirect accounts to be hit by a direct project. So letting you have that separation there and validation to help you protect, charges from going to the wrong areas. Then we have a active and allow charging kind of a in in the name. Right? So allow charging, lets people charge to it, and then active is right projects currently operating. We can also turn that off and set it as inactive there. Now we also have our organization here. So this is going to be an area where we can separate out departments. Also, if we have multiple entities or LLCs, we can separate them out here with the org, area, so letting you build out that structure. And you're gonna see that it's similar with the kind of project structure here. So you can build out those different hierarchies and structures to have them all kinda roll up in or roll up into each other to let you kind of have that reporting there depending on your needs. And then lastly, quick call out, is we do have the project workforce required, which would be an area where you can assign employees to projects for them to have access to it so you can limit who has access to different projects. But jumping back at right. So just showing you kind of the the flexibility and the usability of projects here. Definitely very useful use case, and everything is going to be tying back to the site. Even when we were seeing the projects or when we were seeing the, time sheets and the expense reports, those were tying directly back here to these projects. So I need to have all that tied up. Now, also, from the Dela perspective. Right? So we can open Dela back up, and I can ask. Right? Set up project. And then Dela will be able to help me walk through that process of setting up a project within the system here. Now you can either choose to copy one or you can create a fully custom one, to go through that process here. And then with that, it will let you kinda go through those different stages of naming it, what type of project is it gonna be, all of that. Right? So within here, we can see, right, do we want it to be a copy or a custom? For time's sake, we'll do a copy here, and then you can put in the the template ID. So we'll select the one that we are actually looking at right now, and then we'll hit continue. And then we can select how much detail of it do we want. Do you want to be a full copy? Just kind of the basic structure. So that's kinda what we're gonna establish here. So then we can fill out maybe the details a little bit later. Then within here, we can change the ID name. So let's just say we're gonna make it start with a five this time and just say test, and then we can put in owning org as well. Right? So then we can hit continue here, and it's going to have validation. So then it's gonna let you set up that project, copy everything over, and then have that established here. Now I'm gonna say cancel because I we're not trying to put in a bunch of projects into our demo environment, but just letting you see that kind of functionality there. So with that too, that's kinda how Delo would help you kinda set up a project within that. Now with these projects, with the time sheets, with all the data flowing throughout the system, we can start to get some really nice reports. So we're gonna jump back into business intelligence and show you a real time project status report. So this is going to be a project status report. I'm getting you real time data as well. So we can see that we're running this at the top level of a project. We could also run it at a lower level. So let's say we just wanted to see one CLIN and how that's operating. We can run it at that level as well. But within here, we can see the current period actuals. We can see a current period budget. You can see inception date information, total budget, and balance remaining. So we can see all that detail right here. But the reason that we call this real time is this pending column right here in the middle. So this allows you to see any pending transactions that are in the system. So let's say timesheets for an example. We were entering in our timesheets, but it's only halfway through the timesheet cycle. We can still see that displayed here because we put in the project code so we can see the charges coming in. And you might also notice there's a little blue hyperlink. I can click in and drill into that detail if I wanted to to see a pending detail charge report. So with this, it'll let us have access to see who's been charging to this, when do they charge to it, what hours did they put in, how much is that gonna cost, all that will be broken down here. We can see that we have Brenda Walker. We have the organization that they're in, what type of work they're doing, the dates, and hours as well as cost. So all that's broken out for us right here. You can see we have about nine pages worth of data. So I can keep scrolling through if I wanted to, but allow us to see that and drill into the data. Our ultimate goal is to give you all that data at your fingertips, give you the visibility that you make those decisions. Right? You need the data to make those decisions, so we're trying to make sure that drill downs are all there. You can get into all the details. All that's readily available for you here with our reporting tool. Now another nice thing with the reporting side of the house is that you can also subscribe. So let's say I'm maybe the project manager for this project. I can select Monday and have this sent to me weekly, maybe 9AM. Right? I come into the office, sipping on my coffee. I can get this sent to me and have this ready to go and then check it out right while I'm drinking my coffee, make sure that everything's operating effectively, letting you do that. Now, also, you can do this on a daily trigger, on a monthly, or you can have it be triggered based off of actually a a a validation number or a a criteria. So then it can notify you based off of a certain, you know, trigger being sent out. So letting you have multiple different ways to kinda have this report be sent to you. Now that was a lot for just kinda one project, but why don't we just jump in and show you kind of the whole portfolio. Right? Of course, we're gonna wanna compare all the different projects, how they're stacking up, all the information. So jumping into here, we have our project health report. So with this, we can see all the different projects stacked up on each other, And now we can see kind of period of performance. We can see project value. We can see profit percentage. All of that's right here. So coming into here, we'll be able to then break it out and see the percent complete, all that information. Now to be transparent, the percent complete is more of a calculation, seeing how much funding's left, but letting you still see that information. Right? It's very valuable. And then also with the our profit percentage, that's rare. Right? I said a little bit earlier, figuring out which projects or which contracts should we keep going after, which one should we maybe not go after anymore, which ones are we not profitable on, letting you see all of that right here and have that visibility. And then also in this report, we can drill down into a lot of it. So coming over here, I can drill down into the into just specifically one of the projects. I can drill down and break up the structure of it. I can also break out the product status report, giving me many options there. And, also, up here with all these different tiles, I can come and click on the open billing detail if I wanted to, run a open billing detail report, see everything where this number is coming from, or unposted vouchers. Right? I can see all of that and have all that detail right here available to me. Now jumping back out, that was pretty much it for winning and delivering better projects. But then coming down, we're gonna be showing you a little bit of navigating government contracting here. So within here, we're gonna now come into the contracts side of the house where we're managing those contracts. And within here, this is gonna be kind of the next step after that opportunity that we just saw a little bit earlier. But within here, we'll be able to track all the requirements from a security requirements, from classifications, and also contract information. And down here, we can also even track far clauses and provisions. So within here, we'll be able to tag what far clauses are required against this project. So we can see here we have a lot tagged, and then we can also even have it flow down to the subcontractor. So with this, it has the feature to even go down to the POs that we print out for subcontract agreements, and it will print out all the far clauses that are applicable on there and letting you have that reference point here. So really tying the whole system together here with this type of functionality. But with this as well, truly, you're gonna be able to keep a lot of this information from the contracting perspective here, giving, you know, the modifications in place. Right? How much funding do we have on this, on this project here? So we can see, right, on this project slash contract, We can see when it was awarded. We can see extended period performance, increased funding. All that information will be here inside of the system and allowing us to see. Right? We can also rate the vendors that we're working with and see how efficient they are. Are they meeting our needs or not? We can see performance assessments as well for the CPARS and have that type of data being driven here. And then we also do have that smart summary. So we can run that smart summary right here, and we'll be able to analyze how this contract is operating, allowing us to get all that information out here and see that directly displayed. So maybe I'm brand new on this contract. I wanna get updated. This is the type of feature that, right, we would really utilize here. Let me make this a little bit bigger for us. But within here, then we can see, right, just a simple summary of the contract information. We can see a bit of a financial info, here. So we can see it's about, you know, 66% complete funding. And then we also have a subcontract being built off this. So you can build off subcontract records and then, you know, have that subbed out so we can see Accenture Consulting as our sub for this and then having that all displayed as well here with the summarization tool. Now kinda jumping over as well for helping navigate government contracting, of course, is incurred cost submissions. We understand that that's a little bit of a big headache. So jumping back over, did wanna show that we have a whole all the schedules kinda built into the system ready to go. This is a schedule h specifically, but allowing you to see, right, that fully broken out here. Now if I come back out, I can show you where the bucket is. So here in team content, we can see all the different buckets of reports that come with the solution. So then we can come down here into our incurred cost submission reports, and then we can see all the different schedules here ready to go. So these are gonna be canned reports coming with the system ready to go and ready to help you really, you know, be more efficient. I understand that this can take people couple weeks to really put all this information together and, you know, make piling it together in Excel. Costpoint's built for this. Ready to go and here to help you kinda tackle this. But jumping back out, lastly, wanted to show you the command center. So this is where we're really kinda stepping forward to, innovating with is going to be giving you persona based data and letting you command your business from one area here in the command center. So firstly, we we're starting off in the financial review section, allowing you to see kind of more of that account persona here. We'll be jumping through all of them, but the account persona is gonna be where we're starting. And within here, kind of in the names, in the name itself, right, the financial review, we'll be able to see total expenses, total revenue, net profit. We can see how our organizations slash departments are operating. And then we can even drill down around a balance sheet if we needed to or an income statement. And then we can even come down and see all the different accounts and what they've been budgeted for. So we can say our revenue accounts. We can break that out, see the actuals versus, you know, year to date actuals. And anywhere that you see a blue link, I can run a drill down report and see where those numbers are coming from. So I need to drill into the data and see it right in front of you. But coming over, we'll set the general ledger area helping you keep track of unposted journal entries, unposted AP vouchers, and cash receipts so then you can jump to those and complete those right away. Let's have a closing manager. So you can build in your month end process directly different individuals. So you can see here, I'm currently waiting on six tasks to be opened up and ready to go, and then I'll be able to complete those. But allowing your team to have one sheet of music to operate towards and complete that month end a lot more efficiently there. Now jumping over to the project analyst view, we can see, right, how projects are operating here with the project overview, see inception to date funding, see total revenue, see the breakouts of that information. We can also jump over, see some hours analysis. So let's say we're planning out the hours that we expect our employees to work on each project. We can see how much has actually been planned versus what's actually been completed, how much work have they done, any pending hours. Right? So those pending charges, and then we can see the variance, of course, here. But letting you break all that out. And, again, I can come over here, drill down into the hours and see specifically who is working these hours, who is maybe not completing all their hours. I can drill into that detail. Then we do have the billing tab here. So, of course, right, handling more of that billing section allowing you to see inception today build, unbilled per GL, and open transactions. All of that will be displayed here. And let's say I wanted to drill into the open transactions, I can come right here, click on it, and drill down into that capability. So giving you all that, we can also open it up too if we wanted to display the different levels of projects. And then and so maybe our cleans are being handled differently. We wanna see the different billing levels that we're at and be able to handle that there too. So giving you multiple options here. Now jumping back over, we do have a time and expense manager area. If I jump back a couple of days, we can see. Right? So the holidays will then populate. You'll also be able to see any pending vacation request for your team that's assigned to you, allowing you to see all that directly on more of a calendar view to then see, alright. Maybe the whole team's gonna be out this one week. Obviously, we can't have that happen, letting you see that in more of a calendar view rather than having to go in and look at each specific individual request there, but giving you all that data. And then also for helping out the managers, they can see right here what needs to be completed. They can come and click on that, accept that leave request, and keep moving forward or accept the time sheet. All that will be available right there. And then lastly, kinda coming back towards Dela, we do have anomaly detection throughout the whole entire system. So it's in here we can see. Right? It's gonna be scanning journal entries, PO vouchers, AP vouchers, and, you know, bills. If there's any income statement anomalies, if there's any balance sheet anomalies, it'll be really having an extra pair of eyes in the system essentially, being able to scan everything for us. We can drill into anything that's been flagged. So I can drill in, see the standard bills, see what the issue is with those, and it will populate those for me. I can even drill in and see the invoice specifically if I wanted to. So let's look at this top one. It's for the air force. It's saying that the other group label is kinda suspicious. It hasn't seen that before, allowing us to drill in, see if we actually want the invoice for that, or if that was actually a mistake that we need to double check. So having an extra pair of eyes on the system is definitely gonna be helpful. But that's really kinda coming to the conclusion of the demo portion of Costpoint, but really showing you a lot of those capabilities of how all that works inside of Costpoint for us. And we'll be jumping back to the slides here, so let me jump back to that. Alright. Here we go. So now we're gonna dive in and show or talk a little bit about kind of what we just talked about and break down exactly what they're so at the very beginning, right, we were diving into driving growth. So our ultimate goal with that is to have speedy onboarding and adoption with user driven interfaces and personalized learning, showing that we have the the learning hub built directly in. We have Della there to help you understand exactly how each process is going to work, making it as user friendly as possible to navigate throughout the system with navigation banners and having different processes preestablished. Also, with how scalable Costpoint is, we want it to be an all in one solution, having all your manufacturing needs in there, procurement needs, HR and payroll requirements. All that can be built directly into the solution to help you have one source of truth. Everything's gonna be communicating cating together inside of one solution and having it be dedicated for that exact purpose there. Now next, right, we were talking about optimizing cash flow. So, typically, what we see is people are utilizing separate systems to collect financial transactions, which means you need to use manual processes to tie cost to specific projects and then segregate direct, indirect, and unallowable. With Costpoint and our projects, right, it ties every transaction together, bank statements, time entries, expenses. You saw that it's gonna flow through the whole entire system being connected to the correct account, the correct project, the correct organization. All that's gonna be there and tied together, really making sure that you don't have to spend time on that anymore. We wanna make you more efficient. Right? Once that information has been put in, it's already routed to the correct area. And we we even have the anomaly detection to make sure that maybe something did get routed the wrong direction. Right? It's gonna flag it for us and help us keep track of that information and bring it to our attention there. Now with winning and delivering better projects, right, ultimately, our goal is to help you transition an opportunity to a project, and we understand that this is a very timely and consuming process. Sometimes it gets delayed and then, right, you're trying to collect billable hours when it's already delayed. And then once the product does get, you know, fully initiated, bought our budgets are getting overrun. So we really wanna help streamline this process, make it a lot more efficient, have the product be set up for success from the very beginning, and make sure that you have all that visibility. You saw that real time product status report. You saw the product health report. Being able to compare everything against each other and have all the data at your fingertips is really how we're gonna help you win and deliver better projects to make sure that you are delivering on time and on budget. Then lastly, right, Costpoint is built for government contracting, so we're here to help you navigate government contracting. We understand that a lot of newer businesses are learning how to navigate the GovCon industry, and they're trying to establish compliant business systems. But sometimes, we're not sure where to start. And they ensure our desire to have audit readiness, which is what Costpoint can really provide. So, right, Costpoint has no customization required to leverage out of the box functionality for government contracting, including dashboards, reports, compliance controls, validations, compliant formats, charging codes, DCA formats, DCMA. Right? Having everything built directly in is what the name of the game is for us, and we wanna make sure that you're compliant, you have access to all of that audit data, and that it's all built directly into the system. So we're gonna really help you navigate that industry and make sure that you're compliant here, and we truly wanna partner with small businesses and help them scale and grow. Now on the name of kinda compliance here, we're also gonna dive in and show a little bit of kinda all the different areas that we talk about, right, or from a compliance perspective. So Costpoint supports a wide range of government contracting requirements, including FAR clauses, DFAR clauses, DCAA, CAS, CMMC, ITAR, and FedRAMP. So for customers, this means less manual tracking, fewer spreadsheets, and more confidence during audits and reviews knowing that Costpoint has this all built directly in and ready to go. Then lastly, for our folks that are worried about cloud compliance with FedRAMP, ITAR, CMMC, we do have our two different SaaS offerings. So firstly, we have our GCC, which is more of our standard cloud, not as locked down and compliant. So, right, for those more people who don't have c QE or don't have any, alright, CMMC requirements, any federal requirements, that's where they would go. But then we also have our GCCM moderate cloud here where it's really built for that type of requirement. We are built to meet FedRAMP moderate and equivalency per the DOD policy memo, built for the CMMC level two and level three requirements, US only support truly built for this type of area, for the NIST, for DFARS, for ITAR data, all of that. Right? So we have many of our government contractors in that cloud right now to make sure that they're staying compliant. So if you are gonna go into a cost point evaluation, make sure to talk about that during the evaluation. We'll send you over a form to fill out to make sure that you're getting the right cloud and that you're staying compliant there. But with that, it's been truly a pleasure today. So, you know, what we've really been talking about isn't software. It's really about readiness. Readiness to scale, to stay compliant as requirements evolve, and to manage projects with confidence as complexity increases. For many contractors, the challenge isn't whether their system works today. It's whether it will still work when the business grows. Contracts get more complex and and when scrutiny increases. Costpoint exists for that exact moment when organizations realize that they don't want to keep patching systems together or reacting after the fact. They want visibility earlier. They want controls built directly in any platform designed for the realities of government contracting. The most useful next step, if this resonates, isn't a generic demo. Come talk to us, and we will be able to kinda build out a discovery call where we'll be able to go through a conversation with you, understand exactly what your needs are and where you want us to prioritize that demonstration to be, and then we'll drill in and show you a full in-depth tailored demo to exactly your needs. So I'll leave you with a simple question. Based on where you're headed, do you want to explore what a purpose built government contracting platform would look like for you in your world? Let us know. You can leave a message in the chat if you want to to have us reach out to you and get that process started or, you know, make sure to send in a kinda request for more of that type of conversation. But without further ado, this would head into our q and a section. I did see that we had one come in for can Crosspoint integrate with Procore? So Crosspoint has an open API. So any other system that has an open API, we can connect back and forth with them. Typically, that's what we see a lot of our customers use is just having that open API, send data back and forth, or pull data in, so allowing them to communicate back and forth there. Also see that another one of our questions is, right, are the dashboards that we saw today standard out of the box? Yes. So everything that you saw today is gonna be coming with the core solution. I didn't show anything that was configurable or customized. But in our reporting tool, you can build out your own reports if you wanted to. Any of those data fields that you saw, we can pull in a report, build it out, and create our own custom one if we wanted to. But what you did see today is out of the box functionality. And let's see. Oh, okay. I see can we get training on Costpoint? How much does it cost? Yeah. So that Deltek learning zone that I talked about is definitely very useful, right, in helping you get training. It's free right out of the box. But, typically, right, let's say we do purchase Costpoint, and we go through that whole process. There would be an implementation conversation, and they would be able to help you with that training step. And they will provide training, and it'll be included in kind of that process there. But thank you all for joining today, and I hope that you all have a great rest of your day.
